AGN – Release of Information Related to Optimally Productive Office FY 2023 Dashboard
Purpose. This national bulletin informs state conservationists (STCs), directors, and other appropriate staff with a Tableau Server license that the Optimally Productive Office (OPO) fiscal year (FY) 2023 Tableau dashboards are now found through the FPAC Landing Page on the USDA Tableau server, https://cxodashboard.dl.usda.gov/.
Expiration Date. September 30, 2023
Background. OPO is a suite of workload analytic tools focused on Field Service Center staffing and workload. Improvements and highlighted functionality in the FY 2023 quarter 2 (Q2) release include:
• Incorporation of FY 2022 enterprise workload metrics data
• Work Quality Index Overview
• Scheduled Work Comparison
• Historically Underserved data visualizations
• Metric-Type Ratio visualizations that illustrate one workload metric versus another (e.g., Contracts Obligated vs. Applications Received or Practices Certified vs. Contracts Obligated)
• Additional tools available on the “Helpful Links” tab
• A State/Area/Team Analytics dashboard
• Scenario planning calculator that computes full-time equivalents, given an anticipated change in the number of plans, applications, or contracts
• Contract Modification Reasons exploratory dashboard with updated FY 2022 modification counts.
• FY22 Location Analysis dashboard with FY 2022 metrics
OPO staffing data sourced from EDAPT may have a significant lag behind EmpowHR input. For this and other unavoidable reasons, the most recent validations provided by states may not be reflected in the pay period 1 data. Rather than further delaying release, OPO FY 2023, Q2 will be published with pay period 1 data and will be republished with pay period 4 data the week of March 10. Of significant note, the ServiceNow system – used to initiate non-recruiting actions – will begin including Area of Responsibility (i.e., AoR or Position Location) as a required field. This will substantially reduce the number of blank AoR values in the future.
OPO staff modeling is based upon FY 2022 end of year metrics and recent Insight staffing data and is therefore NOT CONSIDERING Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) staffing needs. The OPO Scenario Calculator, listed in the bullets above, could be used to help states estimate potential need.
The Teams meeting invitations will be sent from the Management and Strategy Deputy Area mailbox to the groups listed below. Please forward to your staff as appropriate.
