Subject:	PDM – Emergency Watershed Protection (EWP) Program Final Report PowerApp

Purpose. To announce the release of the EWP Final Report PowerApp.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2023

Background. The National EWP Team has developed an EWP Final Report application using Microsoft PowerApps. This application will allow the submission of Final Reports electronically, replacing the existing PDF document.

Explanation. The EWP Program Manual 513.1 Final Report requires that Final Reports are submitted when all emergency recovery measures for a disaster event are completed. Final Reports are required to be submitted within 30 days after the closeout of the last agreement of the disaster event.

The National EWP Team has developed an electronic version of the final report to streamline both the process of submitting the EWP Final Reports and the ability to retrieve and report data on completed projects. Also, the Event Withdrawal function of the application allows for disaster events with no activity to be closed out in the EWP tracking system. Thank you to Nicholas Reynolds of North Dakota for developing this PowerApp while serving on detail with the Watershed Programs Branch.

Detailed instructions for completing the Final Report are attached.

A training webinar reviewing the EWP Final Report PowerApp will be held by the National EWP Team. A meeting invite will be sent to the State EWP Program Managers and POCs.
