Subject:	PGM – Deadline for Negotiating RCPP Programmatic Partnership Agreements for FY 2022 Awards

Action Required By: February 1, 2023

Purpose. To inform States of the deadline for implementing new Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) Programmatic Partnership Agreements (PPAs) for all FY 2022 AFAs, Classic projects, and Renewals.

Expiration Date. September 30, 2023

Background. This bulletin covers all FY 2022 awards negotiated in the portal including AFAs, Classic, and Renewal. This does not apply to FY 2022 Nutrient Management Grants.

Explanation. It is critical that PPAs are negotiated, reviewed, and approved in a timely manner to ensure partner and agency expectations are met for project initiation and ultimate completion.

Required Action. State RCPP Coordinators must submit PPAs for all awards listed above by February 1, 2023, with a final execution goal of March 16, 2023.

Projects with PPAs not executed by March 16, 2023, run the risk of withdrawal of awards.
