Purpose. This bulletin announces the publication to eDirectives of NRCS Title 210, National Instruction, Part 303 (210-NI-303), Awarding Continuing Education Credits for NRCS-Sponsored Training to Maintain Professional Licensure.

Background. Questions continually arise within NRCS regarding the possibility of awarding continuing education (CE) credits for in-house training for licensed NRCS professionals (engineers, geologists, and landscape architects). In response, Conservation Engineering Division (CED) staff reviewed the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Continuing Professional Competency Guidelines (https://ncees.org/wpcontent/uploads/CPC_Guidelines_2021.pdf) and developed the NRCS guidance found in 210-NI-303.
