Purpose.   To notify watershed program managers and others that the “Evaluation of Potential Rehabilitation Projects” worksheet was revised and will be incorporated as an exhibit in the National Watershed Program Manual, 390-NWPM, Part 506, Subpart D, Section 506.40.   
 
Expiration Date.   February 8, 2022  
 
Background.   The Conservation Engineering Division (CED) and the National Watershed Team have reviewed and updated the “Evaluation of Potential Rehabilitation Projects” worksheet used by the agency to evaluate each potential watershed rehabilitation project with a valid application by computing a risk index and preparing an evaluation of consequences of failure on each project for ranking purposes. The worksheet was verified using actual project examples.      
 
Explanation.   The updated worksheet will be incorporated into the National Watershed Program Manual, 390-NWPM, Part 506, Subpart D, Section 506.40. Attached is the revised “Evaluation of Potential Rehabilitation Projects” worksheet for immediate use.
